School Employers Association of California (SEAC) is a joint-powers agency that provides education, support, and professional development to superintendents, Boards, human resource professionals, and management teams through training, research, and advocacy in collective bargaining, personnel, governance, and representation.
To ensure quality management, effective governance, and representation in Sacramento, SEAC seeks to work with superintendents, governing boards, and management teams in K-12 and community college districts throughout California by offering:
Assisting districts representing and championing students and school district interests in the collective bargaining arena.
Providing collective bargaining agreement analyses and language, and insight, advice, and conflict resolution strategies for employee discipline, dismissal, and harassment and discrimination claims.
Custom designing and facilitating governance team-training and discussions based on district needs to ensure a culture of trust and professionalism.
Assisting district managers when working within financial restrictions including areas such as personnel related cost analyses, salary comparisons, health benefits analyses and recommendations, job classification studies and other special studies dealing with negotiations efforts.
